A 40 Year History of Nu Life TV Antenna

Nu Life TV Antenna is first registered as a Proprietary Limited Company. The company's founder, Arthur Burgess, sets up in a single van to service Sydney residents.
Initially, the company provides TV antenna installation as well as TV and appliances repairs.

Awarded a project to install >200 satellite dishes and cabling to deliver Languages Other Than English TV for schools in regional NSW.

One of the first prime contractors to Galaxy Pay TV in Sydney (Galaxy was a predecessor to what is currently known as Foxtel). Nu Life TV Antenna went on to have over 20 vans/crews on the road every day dedicated to this contract.

The Company is engaged to deliver the design, supply, installation and commissioning for a combined Free To Air and Foxtel TV system to the updated No. 1 Margin Place building.
This included the high rise office block and hotel.

Forecasting a slowdown in industry demand, Nu Life divests the TV & Appliance Repair Division to Hills Telefix.
This allowed the company to focus on its Communications Division, and the growing demand for TV antenna installation and repair as well as Foxtel installation work.

Designed, supplied and installed single antenna SMATV system for Sydney's original King Street Wharf precinct, comprising 10 buildings and over 4,500 outlets for Free To Air and Foxtel.
The design included a mix of RG6, RG11 and 1/2 inch coaxial cable for distribution throughout the buildings.

Completed the delivery of a hybrid coaxial and fibre TV system to 14 buildings at the Holsworthy Army Barracks in Sydney.

Nu Life TV Antenna was engaged as one of the major contractors to the NSW Government for the Housing Assistance Scheme (‘HAS’ project) as part of the Australian Government Digital Switchover.
This included being awarded a 3 year project, consisting of upgrading the Free To Air TV systems at ~22,000 NSW Government Residential tenancies.

Nu Life TV Antenna launches a local service offering outside of Sydney for the very first time.
The expansion into Queensland starts with a single technician based in Brisbane.
Within 3 months, this expands to 3 technicians and the service area expands to include the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions.

Awarded a contract to receive and transmit satellite signals to over 60 cinema sites across 6 states for one of the country's larget cinema operators.
Most cinema sites were located in high traffic shopping centre complexes.
Supported the live-streaming of dedicated shows and performances to cinema theatres.

Nu Life TV Antenna expands into Melbourne and Adelaide, providing the same high quality TV antenna service to residents in Victoria and South Australia.

Throughout the remainder of 2018, Nu Life TV Antenna expands its service into other new geographies, including Perth, Canberra, Newcastle and the Central coast of NSW.

Delivered a $1.25m NBN HFC Remediation project to one of NBN's Prime Contractors.
Completed over 600 jobs in the course of a 6 month timeframe, including high difficult HFC work orders previously rejected by other contractors.

Having built up the domestic business, the Company refocusses attention on its Commercial Division and wins a number of large projects.
In addition, the Commercial team completed over 25 projects, delivering, delivering MATV, PayTV, International Satellite TV and/or Mobile Reception projects to over 1,500 tenancies. This includes a combination of new construction works, as well as retrofit of existing buildings with new cabling and/or devices in order to upgrade SMATV systems
